Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026  ·  Version: 2026-06-18

This Privacy Policy explains how Cruzin4aBruzin (“Company,” “we,” “us”), operator of the Cruzin4aBruzin app and cfab.tv (the “Service”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Use.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account & profile: email, password (hashed), date of birth (used to derive age; never publicly displayed), optional phone number, first name, gender, orientation, preferences, bio, prompts, interests, languages, height, location (city/country), and your selected cruise line, ship, and sailing dates.
  • Photos & content: profile photos, an optional verification selfie (used only to review verification and not shown publicly), messages, and other content you submit.
  • Payments: when you buy a messaging pass, our payment processor collects your payment details; we receive limited information such as a transaction/customer identifier and status (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Support & reports: information you provide when you contact us or report another user.
  • Consent records: your acceptance of our Terms and this Policy, including the version accepted, date/time, IP address, and device/browser information.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & log data: IP address, browser/device type, operating system, app/version, identifiers, and access timestamps.
  • Location: approximate location derived from IP and the city/country and sailing you provide. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you separately enable it.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: used for sign-in sessions, security, preferences, and analytics (see Section 5).
  • Push tokens: if you enable notifications, a push subscription identifier for your device/browser.

2. How we use information

  • operate, provide, personalize, and improve the Service and matching;
  • create and secure your account and authenticate sign-in;
  • process payments and provide messaging passes;
  • enable discovery, matching, and messaging with users on your sailing;
  • moderate content and detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, safety risks, and Terms violations — including with automated and AI-assisted tools (see Section 9);
  • send transactional messages (e.g., verification, security, receipts) and, where permitted, service updates and notifications;
  • maintain consent and compliance records; and comply with law.

3. How we share information

  • With other users: your profile (name, age, photos, bio, prompts, interests, and similar) is visible to other users on your sailing. Your email, phone, exact birth date, and verification selfie are not shown to other users.
  • Service providers: we share data with vendors who process it on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and deployment, database hosting, object storage/CDN for images, email delivery, payment processing (Stripe), analytics, push delivery, and content-moderation tools. They are bound to use it only to provide their services.
  • Legal & safety: we may disclose information to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or the Company, and to investigate fraud or wrongdoing.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that would require an opt-out under applicable law without providing one.

4. Marketing communications

We may send service-related messages (which you cannot opt out of while you have an account) and, where permitted, promotional messages. You can opt out of promotional email via the unsubscribe link and control push notifications in Settings and your device.

5. Cookies, tracking, and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security, and we may use cookies and similar technologies for preferences and analytics to understand and improve usage. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling some cookies may break sign-in or other features.

6. Payment processors and third-party integrations

Payments are handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. Other integrations (hosting, storage, email, analytics, maps, push, and cruise-schedule data) process limited data to provide their functions. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of these providers.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements. Consent and certain compliance records may be retained on a longer, permanent basis as required for legal and audit purposes. Backups may persist for a limited time after deletion.

8. Account deletion and your choices

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes or de-identifies your profile and personal data, subject to limited retention as described above (for example, transaction records and consent logs). You can also edit your profile, manage photos, and control notifications at any time.

9. Content moderation and AI

To keep the community safe, we use automated systems, which may include AI-assisted image and text screening, to detect prohibited content, fraud, and abuse. Automated decisions may be reviewed by our team. These tools help us enforce our community standards but are not perfect.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and private storage for images. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at support@cfab.tv. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

EEA/UK (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, our legal bases for processing include: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service), your consent (e.g., optional features and certain communications), our legitimate interests (e.g., security, fraud prevention, and improving the Service), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the rights described above and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. You may exercise your rights as described above; you may use an authorized agent.

12. International users

We operate from the United States and process and store data in the U.S. and with our service providers. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S. and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

13. Children

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and terminate the account.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and version, and we may require you to re-accept it before continuing to use the Service. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
